Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton
Top off a day filled with family fun and entertainment with spectacular fireworks accompanied by the Oakland Easy Bay Symphony.
Foster City 4th of July Celebration
Leo J. Ryan Park plays host to a day of celebration including an Independence parade, live music and food that culminates with fireworks at 9:30pm
Mountain View’s Shoreline Amphitheatre
Beginning at 8pm, the San Francisco Symphony will perform its annual 4th of July concert at Shoreline Amphitheatre. This year, it pays tribute to music from American movies, including honoring The Sound of Music’s 50th anniversary. The evening is topped off with the orchestra accompanying an extraordinary fireworks exhibition.
San Mateo Highlands Fireworks, Parade & Festival
A Highlands neighborhood tradition that traces its roots back 55 years, this 2-day event includes a race, parade, community festival and two evenings of fireworks.
Santa Clara
Santa Clara offers two very different opportunities to view 4th of July fireworks. The 4th of July All-City Picnic and Fireworks Extravaganza is a day-long celebration held in Central Park from noon to 10pm that includes carnival games, swimming, food vendors and live entertainment, finishing with fireworks at 9:30pm.
Great America’s annual Ignite the Night Fireworks Spectacular occurs every Friday and Saturday at 9:30pm through early September and is the perfect way to end a day filled with thrilling rollercoaster rides or a day at their waterpark.
