Palo Alto Summer Series – Music and Movies
As the weather warms and evenings are beautifully balmy, the City of Palo Alto kicks off its annual Twilight Summer Series, a season-long event filled with free concerts and movies. These evening events are held in a variety of locales, with local food vendors and food trucks serving mouthwatering dishes and desserts.
Buoyancy Teen Music & Art Festival
Sunday, June 2nd
4:30pm-8:30pm
Mitchell Park Amphitheater
This free teen-focused event is presented by the Teen Arts Council and Art Center Teen Leadership Committee features performances by live bands as well as an art gallery, activities, carnival attractions, lots of free food, and fantastic giveaways.
Palo Alto Twilight Concerts
Saturday, June 29th, July 13th, July 20th, August 3rd

Palo Alto’s incredibly popular Twilight Concert Series is a celebration of the Bay Area through diverse live musical performances matched with diverse and delicious food. When you’re not on your feet dancing, grab a bite to eat from the food trucks, relax in your lawn chair, and enjoy the free, live music!

Santana Tribute band, Caravanserai, will have you singing along and breaking out your best dance moves.
7/20 Night Moves

Rinconada Park, 777 Embarcadero Road
Night Moves is a six-piece tribute band performing popular tracks from Bob Seger and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
8/3 Boys of Summer & Business Casual

The A cappella quintet, Business Casual, is back, this time performing along with Eagles Tribute band, Boys of Summer.
Music is Magic Concert Series
Friday, May 31st to Friday, August 30th

Magical Bridge Playground at Mitchell Park, 600 E. Meadow Road
Music Is Magic is hosted by the Magical Bridge Foundation, along with Friends of Palo Alto Parks. Held at the City’s flagship “socially inclusive and innovative playground,” it features live family-friendly concerts performed on the playground every Friday evening. There are also craft projects, face painting booths, and many more fun activities. Pack a picnic dinner and enjoy a summer evening filled with music and fun!

Held at the beautiful Mitchel Park Community Center once a month June through August, families can enjoy a free movie night with films tailored toward all ages. Make a night of it by first enjoying a picnic dinner outdoors at the Music Is Magic concert, then head on over to the Community Center for family movie night!
