Mountain View Beerwalk
On Saturday, March 12th, downtown Mountain View will host its 3rd annual Beerwalk along Castro Street from 2 to 6pm. Those 21 years and older will sample a variety of craft beers and ales while supporting the local shops, restaurants and small businesses that make Mountain View’s Castro Street unique.
Each ticketholder receives one 2 to 3 ounce tasting per brewery, a custom Beerwalk glass and a passport allowing them access to each participating ‘brewery’ tasting location. Approximately 20 different beers from both imported and local breweries will be featured. The Tied House Brewery is among those serving up samples of their signature ale. A complete list of participants is still in the works.
The goal of The Beerwalk is to engender a lively yet responsible social outlet for the Mountain View community all while spotlighting downtown businesses and raising funds for community non-profit organizations. The March 12th event will benefit the Bay Brewers Guild, a California 501 ( c ) 3 organization that promotes beers and breweries, and to raise awareness of drinking craft beer. Proceeds will also help fund the Mountain View Central Business Association.
Tickets can be purchased online. Designated drivers don’t need to purchase tickets. Children and dogs are welcome but may not be allowed in all venues. Check in time starts at 1pm. The event will be held rain or shine.
If you’re a lover of craft beer and ale and are looking for an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday, the downtown Mountain View Beerwalk is sure to please.
