Mount Hermon Adventures
Seven miles outside of Santa Cruz is the unincorporated community of Mount Hermon, founded in 1906 as the first retreat center west of the Mississippi. Today, it operates five camp centers including Mount Hermon Adventures, where nature is the backdrop for challenging, educational and inspirational experiences.
Established in 2010, Mount Hermon Adventures uses its surrounding redwood forests to offer guided zip line canopy tours and aerial trails set high above the forest floor. With a mission to “provide people of all backgrounds a quality, authentic and inspirational experience in the outdoors using challenge and adventure experiences,” Mount Hermon Adventures brings people together in a safe, peaceful place, inviting them to challenge themselves in new and unique ways all while learning about the distinct redwood forest eco-system.
