Closed off to traffic, Almond Grove in Los Gatos is a safe and stress-free area for trick-or-treaters and their parents. Kids will appreciate that the houses go all out with spooky decor and candy galore. Parents, meanwhile, will enjoy the peace of mind knowing cars will not be flying down the road.
Downtown Los Gatos
From eerie ghost tours and colorful parades to spooky thrills and everything in between, downtown Los Gatos is brimming with the spirit of Halloween! Go ahead and gather the family, don the costumes and join the excitement by trick or treating along Santa Cruz Avenue or attending the Fall Festival complete with line dancing, inflatables and food trucks.
Downtown Los Altos
Prepare for a Spooktacular event! Held annually, downtown Los Altos gets into the Halloween spirit by sending children on a quest to find stores displaying an orange pumpkin. Kids can expect to enjoy trick-or-treating, fun games, spooky crafts, and more!
Rose Garden in San Jose
With over 5 acres of rolling green lawns and colorful blooms, this historic landmark was named “America’s Best Rose Garden.” Featuring classic California-esque bungalows and extraordinary Victorians, families can enjoy a relaxing and easily accessible trick-or-treating experience.
Willow Glen
Grab the whole family for some frightful fun in downtown Willow Glen. A long-standing community tradition, the businesses along Lincoln Avenue will be handing out candy during designated time slots. Separated into two groups, the little ones can get their fill of candy from 11 am to 12:30 pm. School-aged kiddos, on the other hand, are free to trick-or-treat from 3 to 4:30 pm.
