Rainy Day Activity in Silicon Valley

6 Activities for a Rainy Day in Silicon Valley

California, and Silicon Valley specifically, is known for its sunny days and temperate climate. Let’s be honest though, it’s not 365 days of sunshine and cloudless skies – “April showers” after all. So when the clouds roll in and you’re looking for an adventure that won’t result in getting drenched, we’ve got you covered. You might just want to bookmark this page and save it for a rainy day.

Be a Pilot for the Day

Ok, so you won’t actually be getting your license to fly but at the Hiller Aviation Museum, you can feel like a pilot. Examine over 50 aircrafts and historical displays, explore the lore of aviation, observe drone demonstrations, and even take a virtual flight to see the world from the unique perspective of a pilot. While some activities are still closed due to the pandemic, a few of the interactive exhibits you can still enjoy include a Sky Portal and Wright Model B Simulator.
