More healthy ideas for Labor Day weekend! Chase away the Lazy Days of Summer with the “Race to the End of Summer” on Sunday September 5 at the Coyote Creek Trail in San Jose. I can hear groans from kids from around Silicon Valley – many of whom have been back to school for a week or more.
What person in their right mind would want to chase summer away? Mom and Dad! That’s who. We all know it’s a race from now until the end of the year. Time to pump up your schedule, gear up your get fifitness goals, and hit the trails.
The organizers of “Race to the End of Summer 5k/10K” are partnering with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training. Also, the race organizers have taken the “Go Green Pledge” in partnership with Active.com and Athletes for a Fit Planet, and are committed to doing their part to keep the community healthy.
