Menlo Park is full of hip restaurants serving every type of cuisine you can imagine. And then there’s the Dutch Goose. The Dutch Goose has been serving burgers and brews to the locals for over 44 years. On the Peninsula – this is one of THE places to come when your group from work needs to unwind after a “go-go” Silicon Valley week – or when plans are being hatched for the “next big thing” to pitch to the venture capitalists.
The decor is straight out of college life – carved tables older than Apple Computer itself and peanut shells everywhere on the floor. Happy hour features beer specials to wash their famous burgers down. The real “must order” item on the menu, though, are the deviled eggs. A couple of those, a beer, and some time in Duck Blind – and everything is good.
